Meet Andy
Andy started out working on construction sites and became familiar with the processes involved in building new properties and extensions. After several years, he decided to undertake a Building Surveying degree through the University College of Estate Management. At this time, he gained employment with a surveying firm undertaking residential property surveys, specific defect surveys, as well as some commercial work both on and off the island. This provided Andy with on-the-job training under the supervision of several highly experienced senior surveyors; bolstering his academic studies and providing a solid foundation to his career as a surveyor. This knowledge and experience enabled Andy to progress and qualify as an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Having focused on the misdiagnosis of rising damp across the residential surveying industry, Andy has a particular interest in damp investigation when undertaking property surveys and enjoys flying his drone to inspect areas at high level.
Services
A home survey provides an expert account of a property’s condition and highlights any problems in a clear and easy-to-understand way. Your home is likely to be one of the most expensive purchases you make, so you need to know as much as you can about the property before you buy it.
